Episode 8: How I survived the last 10 weeks without caffeine

“The idea of a chemical like caffeine in my bloodstream every single day-- I just didn’t like the idea of that.”

-Natalie Wolfe

Episode 8 is all about my journey through caffeine detox over the past 10+ weeks. This episode is not all about me and my high horse telling you all to give up your dearly beloved cup of joe, but rather, a fun look inside what my experience has been without caffeine. I walk you through my own coffee story, why the heck I would give up coffee/caffeine, the benefits of giving it up, what I replaced my coffee in the morning with and what actually happened to me as a result. I give you some tips for how to do this the right way if you’re interested in detoxing, and let you know if I’m going to continue this journey.

A few resources I mention in the podcast:

  • my Amazon Marketplace list of tea gadgets (for those who want to try loose leaf teas)

  • Adagio loose leaf teas

  • my absolute favorite place for clean manis/pedis that last so long: MiniLuxe

(This episode was sponsored by MiniLuxe. TFI podcast listeners get free nail art add-ons (worth $10). Just mention The Fitness Insider when booking or add it into the notes section on the MiniLuxe app when booking an appointment).
